Paleo Chili Lime Chicken Wings

These crispy baked chicken wings are paleo with a Whole30 option to sweeten the sauce, family friendly and a total crowd pleaser.

Chicken Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Chicken Wings
  • Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Arrowroot

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 4 tbsp Melted Ghee or Avocado Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Lime zest
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • Cilantro minced
  • Paleo Ranch Dressing (optional) for serving


  • Preheat your oven to 450° F.
  • Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil, then pace a wire rack over the baking sheet.
  • Place wings  in a large bowl. Sprinkle all over with the arrowroot, salt and pepper.
  • Arrange wings rack and place in the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake at 450° F for 25-30 mins.
  • While the wings bake- make the sauce. Whisk together the honey with the ghee or avocado oil, spices, salt, lime zest and juice.
  • After 25 minutes, brush the wings with the sauce, leaving a little for after they bake.
  • Continue to bake for 10-12 more minutes. Remove from oven and brush with any extra sauce. Top with cilantro and serve with Paleo ranch dressing. Enjoy!
