To help athletes get in shape before the start of their sports season so that they can perform better once the season starts. Athletes with an improved level of endurance, speed, agility, strength, and flexibility will be able to execute the skills required in their sports with greater ease and efficiency. This program will also help save coaches time at the onset of the season by having teams show up, ready for the season.
TRAINING PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- 4 week program with 3-6 workouts per week (depending on age)
- Workouts include:
- Yoga/ Stretching
- Sports specific and age appropriate
- 30-45 minutes
- No equipment need, at home execution
Training program kicks off with a meeting for athletes, parents and coaches, where we go over the program, its objectives, the workouts, and answer any/all questions.
Program kicks off with initial testing of sport-specific metrics.
Workouts will be delivered via a training app where each team will have its own workouts with detailed instructions for each day’s workout and visual aids as needed. The app has a built in leader board to encourage accountability among team members. Coaches will have access to weekly training reports per team.
Weekly nutrition tips and recipes will be delivered via email to provide families with smart nutritional information to keep their athletes on track during training and while in-season. Tips will include hydration, pre-workout/game meals, recover meals, and how to fuel through a season as well as a weekend of games.
Program concludes with a final meeting and post training testing of the sport-specific metrics to demonstrate each athlete’s overall fitness gain throughout the program. This will encourage and inspire them to follow the training plan and increase their overall self-confidence.
